Marketing Manager – Contract Opportunity

What we’re looking for:

Netcito is looking for a marketing manager to scale its network of CEO forums for entrepreneurs.  This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to take a proven program that draws rave reviews from its current members in Washington DC and Philadelphia and grow it to a regional and national level.  Working as part of a small and agile team, the marketing manager will build and promote a transformational program for entrepreneurs that enables them to create breakthrough results in their businesses and their lives.

What you’ll do

  • Grow the Netcito membership base by expanding our pool of prospects and encouraging referrals from current members.  Develop and manage multiple sales funnels.
  • Enhance the Netcito member experience by refining new member onboarding and promoting events, creating an ambassador program, and providing other Netcito resources.
  • Develop a Netcito partner program that provides discounts on carefully selected products and services that outstanding provide value to Netcito members.
  • Organize and promote online and offline events for current and prospective Netcito members.
  • Maintain relationships with current and prospective members by creating and distributing online content that provides value to current and prospective members.

What this means day-to-day

  • Build and manage nurture campaigns for prospective, new, and current members.
  • Develop strategy, promotional copy, email campaigns, and registration pages for online and in-person events.
  • Coordinate production of a regular blog or podcast and lead strategy for social media.
  • Design and package member benefits including publishing new member profiles, discounts on selected partner products, and gifts for new members, 
  • Build and manage an ambassador program for current members.
  • Develop and manage SEO and paid search sales funnels.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly

Performance Criteria

  • The ultimate measure of success in this job is net membership growth.  Within 3-6 months of their start date, a successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Netcito sales team to grow network membership by a minimum of 10 new members per month.
  • Success in this role is also determined by the factors that contribute to membership growth:  Web site traffic, form submissions, social media growth, event attendance, email open rates, and email addresses for qualified prospects.

What you’ll need

The ideal person for this role has experience with and understands how to create transformational experiences that foster growth and connection. Key competencies include:

  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience and a portfolio of previous work
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.  Exceptional copywriting skills and strong design sense.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and deliver results with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Existing network of consultants and vendors to whom you can outsource work
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in and/or experience with entrepreneurship
  • Track record of growing membership organizations.
  • Experience with Salesforce and WordPress

Marketing Intern

What we’re looking for:

Netcito is looking for an intern to help build its network of CEO forums for entrepreneurs. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to help scale a successful program for founders and startup CEOs. Working as part of a small and agile team, you will be part of building a transformational program for entrepreneurs that enables them to create breakthrough results in their businesses and their lives.

What you’ll do

The projects you work on will depend on your interests, skills, and level of experience. Potential projects include:

  • Build a benefits program for Netcito members that provides discounts on products and services that can dramatically enhance business performance.  Examples include Asana, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Slack.  Organize, promote, and host seminars on how to deploy these products effectively.
  • Analyze Netcito member data (prep sheets, meeting notes, surveys, and interviews) to better understand customer needs and refine member personas.
  • Develop, refine, and execute social media strategy.
  • Map the Netcito customer journey and make improvements to sales funnels, onboarding, and ongoing membership experience.
  • Develop and implement a social impact strategy that includes B Corp certification, nonprofit partnership, and refining vision mission, and values.
  • Build and manage nurture campaigns for prospective, new, and current members.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates in marketing, business, or related field
