Biography

I’m Ammar, which means builder in Arabic. It’s fitting because I love building things. From a burger rating app to a summer internship program for college students I’ve built lots of things over the past 20 years. I’m currently a number 2 in a public relations firm. I have helped us transition from freelancer to boutique agency. Now we are working towards scaling into a mid-sized agency. I grew up in McLean, VA and received a double degree from JMU in finance and film (technically digital media digital video). I have been living in NYC for the past 10 years. I’m married and we just had our first child. My wife is a physical therapist and we met dancing as extras at a Macklemore concert.
