Having grown up in the Bay Area, I’ve been fasciated with entrepreneurship from a young age and interested in technology’s potential to address societal challenges. I began my career at Bain in consumer consulting, where I developed a passion for brands that create human-centric experiences. This interest led me to Apple, where I designed store experiences. During my time there, I observed older adults regularly attending store events such as iPhone and photography workshops, which opened my eyes to the gap in enriching experiences for the aging population. Following my tenure at Apple, I worked at three early-stage startups. This period coincided with my mother’s transition into retirement, and I witnessed the mental health toll this change took on her. I recognized the lack of support available for navigating this life chapter. This personal experience inspired me to attend Harvard Business School and incubate Hively, a venture aimed at providing the support I wished my mother had during her retirement transition.Personally – I’m a huge people person. Having moved many times in my childhood, I have experienced firsthand the power and importance of human connection. Outside of work, I love bringing people together over dinner parties and spending as much time outdoors as I possibly can.
