Chris is a solo founder of a tech startup (though he does have a friend ready to come on as CTO once he is funded). The company was incorporated in 2013and has been running a beta in a web app version for the last few years.LincSphere then brought on two technology companies as equity partners-one of them is an app development company which opened the doors for their mobile pivot. They have now pivoted to becoming mobile-first and the iOS app will be released by Feb 2016, with Android and the new website to follow 3-4 months after that.LincSphere is a mobile app built around what Chris calls “generosity-based networking”. “Generosity-based networking” is focused on building a network of strong, trust-based relationships by HELPING your contacts in any way you can. It is essentially the true heart of networking. It is the PURPOSE of LincSphere to help improve the general culture of networking across the world-by encouraging better practices in professional relationship building.LincSphere makes everything about building and maintaining your professional network EASIER, from finding the exact people you want to connect with at an event to saving their contact info and keeping their info current, storing all the info you learn about them, finding out what your contacts really need help with, reminding you to stay in touch regularly, passing referrals easily, introducing contacts to one another, and tracking all of the help given and received between you and your contacts.
