Dave Anderson - Directory

Dave is currently the COO at Hitch! (HitchRides), a DC-based start-up with a digital dispatch and mobile payment platform for the Taxi industry. Since graduating from Bowdoin College with an Econ major and Comp Sci minor, Dave has been able to prove himself as a software engineer, private equity analyst and acquisition negotiator, sales engineer, client-facing enterprise software consultant, strategy consultant, and sales & BD manager. Dave’s interest in innovation and entrepreneurship has resonated with his innate desire to motivate people in a variety of ways. Sometimes he finds inspiration in teaching new skills (summers as a sailing instructor), motivating and focusing entrepreneurs (LuckyPennyPress), or coming up with new innovations that win over users (a variety of technical projects). Also, being a DC native, Dave has truly enjoyed the opportunity to engage the DC Entrepreneurship community since he returned to the area to pursue my MBA at Georgetown’s McDonough School. During that time Dave was elected to be president of the Entrepreneurship Club and was able to get out into the city and co-found DC Entrepreneurship Week with a great team of local entrepreneurs
