Jim Miner

Jim loves to build, create, innovate and problem-solve. He has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Rochester. After undergrad, Jim worked as an Examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office. While working as an Examiner, Jim attended law school on a part-time basis to earn his JD. Jim has since been in private practice for over
15 years, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, for the most part, in the business methods space. Jim started TexStow, focused on enhanced thought capture and retrieval. TexStow is in a formative phase with a lot of moving pieces. The general plan is to put more users on the text message-based prototype, in conjunction with evolving technically and on the business side.
