Kevin Hailstock is a web entrepreneur twice over and has been self-employed since the age of 23. In 2001, shortly after 9-11 and post “.combubble”, he co-founded Web Emerse, a web development company, and more recently Insightful Art, which makes it easy for everyday people to create digital art pieces online by providing building blocks based on the recipient’s personality. Having majored in architecture at the University of Virginia, and is a lifelong artist, he found a way to fuse his passion for art, design, and technology with this most recent venture, which was awarded “Best Business Pitch” during New York Entrepreneur Week (2012). He is a 2003 Top “40 Under Forty” award recipient by The Network Journal of NY, and an Essence magazine “Do-Right Man ” (2007). Kevin currently serves on the boards of several non-profits. His continuing education includes the Darden Business Executive programs and the Silicon Valley-based Founder Institute Start-up accelerator.
