Services include outsourced grant writing and foundation relations services as well as strategic counsel and coaching.
Whitney has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, business development, and social enterprise at the local, state, and national level. She has raised millions of dollars for numerous causes. Some highlights include: international organizations (Jitegemee, the Global Brightlight Foundation, the Batonga Foundation, and Goodweave), national policy and advocacy organizations (Americans United for Separation of Church and State, the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, BoardSource, and Faith in Public Life), arts and humanities organizations (the National Building Museum, Life Pieces to Masterpieces, and FotoDC), and large DC-based nonprofits (Bread for the City, the Humane Rescue Alliance, and Byte Back).
She specializes in helping organizations move their fundraising efforts to a new level, whether that means adding a new revenue stream, improving systems, developing a winning grant proposal, or creating a completely new fundraising strategy. She brings a marketing eye to resource development, always thinking about how an organization’s communications and messaging must dovetail with its investor outreach.

Her past board appointments include the Washington Improv Theater, the NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland Education Fund and the Women’s Information Network.
