Dr. Craig Hillman is currently the Senior Vice President of GaitBetter. He previously served as Director of Product Management of New and Emerging Technologies and Director of Software Development for Ansys. Dr. Hillman joined Ansys after a successful acquisition of DfR Solutions in 2019, which he founded and was the CEO. Prior to acquisition, DfR Solutions was recognized as the leader in simulation software for electronics, with over 75% of the Top 50 electronic OEMs as its customers. Dr. Hillman currently sits on the Board of Directors for several companies, serves on the Carnegie Mellon MSE Alumni Council, and is actively involved in the investor community, including as a Mentor for Impact Ventures and a Partner in NextGen Ventures. Dr. Hillman holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California Santa Barbara and a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon.
