Michael Johnson is CEO of Clear Law Institute, which provides (1) Continuing education webinars for lawyers, HR professionals, compliance officers, and accountants, and (2) Online compliance courses and learning games for organizations’ employees. Michael previously co-founded and served as co-CEO of BrightlineCompliance, which provided online courses to more than1.5 million employees of over 600 organizations. Michael sold Brightline to a private equity group in 2007. A former U.S. Department of Justice attorney, Michael has provided training around the world on how to investigate misconduct and how to detect signs of deception for organizations such as Google, Northrop Grumman, and the UnitedNations (in New York, Congo, and Sierra Leone). Michael is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law School.
