I am a DC native and Co-founder of SolarRetina. Our company uses solar data, crowd-sourced from solar citizens, to provide needed intelligence and analysis to electric utilities, grid planners, and grid operators. Aside from our own special algorithms and analytical capabilities, part of what makes us unique is that we provide a mechanism for citizens to perform a small act (sharing their solar data) that, in aggregate, can have a significant impact on moving the needle on solar.…
Jason Nellis is the founder of Overachiever Media, a small firm dedicated to online video and social media marketing. Jason previously worked on theDigital Distribution team at PBS and was also Communications Lead atFosterly. Prior to PBS, Jason worked on both technology and content teams at Hulu. Jason earned his BA from Northwestern University.
Michael Nelson is a Co-Founder of IntimacyIVF. Prior to this full-time role, Michael worked for over 14 years in international development at the Inter-American Development Bank. During this period, Michael worked his way up from Research Assistant in Washington DC to Chief of Operations for the Bahamas office. Among other leadership responsibilities, he led multi-agency assessment and response teams in response to natural disasters, winning several awards from the institution including the President’s Award and 2 Team Awards.…
