I attended college in the United States (Purdue University) and the foundation for my career was with American Express where I was in middle market sales, large market account management; and then led our knowledge management division in Team Amex before being recruited into our first Six Sigma blackbelt cohort where we applied the defect reduction methodology to improving services as opposed to products.…

I spent the first 20 years of my life at Kripalu Center, a not for profit yoga center in Massachusetts. I was basically a renunciate most of that time, receiving an allowance but no income. Re-emerging into the working world in 1996 was very challenging with two young children. Work got as hard as delivering newspapers for awhile; but over time with love and support from friends and family, I was able to start an organic mattress company which has been flourishing for the past 10 years.…
