Ian became the Executive Director of the William James Foundation in 2005. The organization changed its name from the William James Foundation to the Mentor Capital Network in 2014. The MCN connects and coordinate mentors to support entrepreneurs who are launching business that have integrated their values into how they make money. Ian has started or been a charter member of more than a dozen for-profit and not-for-profit ventures, mostly focused on helping community organizations be more effective in their use of information.
